The Costar “Premiere” MDVR310 is a compact and rugged digital video recording solution that supports four cameras for extended viewing coverage. It records high quality digital video on a mobile-rated removable hard drive.

Real Time Video
This compact mobile video recorder can record and playback simultaneously giving you instant access to video. Conveniently retrieve data by removing the hard drive or by using the network interface for live streaming or video downloading to your main storage server.
 

Global Positioning System Mapping
With GPS mapping, speed tracking and recording, the “Premiere” MDVR310 reliably tracks vital information for each recorded event. The Costar viewer software enables you to see a map of the location where the video was recorded as you playback the video.

User Friendly
Multiple input triggers allow you to automatically activate recording based on your specifications. You can also record video previous to a triggered event. With a virtually handsoff interface, it is easy to use with little to no maintenance required.

The heart of the Costar Police and Emergency Vehicle video systems are the superior cameras designed to provide continuous 24-hour imaging despite the harsh treatment of excessive road vibration, frequent quick stop action and ever-changing lighting conditions. Our day/night camera features built-in IR illumination, 520 TVL and the Sony Super HAD/EXview image sensor. Forward facing cameras feature a 40x zoom ratio with automatic optical zoom capabilities that allow the camera to zoom into a license plate and hold the image for 2 seconds then automatically zoom back out.

Integrated GPS Tracking Continually Detects Vehicle Location

GPS tracking maps the vehicle’s location at all times and overlays with local street maps. The optional 3-axis accelerometer function is user-programmable to mark events such as rapid acceleration, quick stopping, turning and vehicle impact. When an event occurs the digital recorder will mark the time and date of the event so it can be easily located and viewed.

Costar Mobile Digital Video Recorders feature event-based or shift-based audio, video, telemetry and data recorder. Recording options include a fixed 3.5” hard drive (40, 80, 120 or 320G), a lockable, removable 2.5” mobile hard drive, or a 8G, 16G & 32G CF card. Costar DVRs interfaces with radar gun, accelerometers, camera, and cell communications. Wireless download is available at an additional cost. All DVRs are designed for heavy vibration environments.

All of our systems provide clear audio reproduction of all conversation inside the vehicle. We also offer a wireless body worn microphone that can transmit audio from over 2,000 feet from the vehicle.
